04394 προφητεία, ας, ἡ 名词
（七十士译）「预言」。

一、说预言之活动：αἱ ἡμέραι τῆς προφητείας αὐτῶν他们传道的日子，启11:6 。

二、说预言之恩赐：用于基督徒，罗12:6 林前12:10 13:2,8 异版; 林前14:22 。复数指先知讲道恩赐的不同种类及等级，林前13:8 帖前5:20 （此处亦有可能是三B.之意义）。τὸ πνεῦμα τῆς πρ.预言中的灵（意），启19:10 。

三、「先知的话，预言的话，预言」。

A. 指旧约预言：ἡ προφητεία Ἠσαΐου以赛亚的预言，太13:14 。一般指旧约的话，彼后1:20,21 （但异版却分别预言与旧约作品：προφητεία καὶ γραφή）。

B. 基督徒先知的话：ἐν προφητείᾳ 预言（先知讲道之形式），林前14:6 帖前5:20 （见上面二）；提前1:18 4:14 。οἱ λόγοι τῆς πρ.预言，启1:3 。οἱ λόγοι τῆς πρ. τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου这书上预言，启22:7,10,18 。οἱ λόγ.τοῦ βιβλίου τῆς προφ. ταύτης 这预言书的话，启22:19 节。*

            and its speedy triumph, together with the consolations
            and admonitions pertaining to it, the spirit of prophecy,
            the divine mind, to which the prophetic faculty is due
